Connect Engineering is a civil engineering consulting firm with locations in:Idaho Falls, ID

We are currently seeking a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer with at least 1 year of experience, or the ability to obtain licensure within the next six (6) months.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The successful candidate will provide:Project management
Drafting and design services
Coordination on various civil engineering projects
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position may include, but is not limited to:Preparation of plans, profiles, sections, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Gathering data from:
Existing drawings
Rough sketches
General engineering and design information
Collaborating closely with Design Drafters and Engineers to ensure coordinated designs
Operating CAD workstations, plotters, printers, and associated equipment
Developing and plotting:
Topographical contour maps
Elevation maps
Profiles and cross-sections
Assisting in the preparation of:
Engineering reports
Cost estimates
Specifications
Construction schedules
Applying standard drafting and design principles to complete projects
Utilizing project specifications, work plans, and drawings to ensure compliance
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Demonstrated proficiency in civil land-based design
Strong CAD drafting skills
Proficiency in the latest AutoCAD Civil 3D software
Applicants may be required to demonstrate AutoCAD Civil 3D skills during the interview
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Land Survey Technician to join our dynamic surveying team.In this role, you will assist in collecting, analyzing, and documenting land data to support construction, engineering, and land development projects. Your work will help ensure precise measurements and accurate mapping, contributing to the successful completion of complex infrastructure projects.

ENGINEER INTERN

Attend and actively participate in meetings with both internal and external stakeholders, collaborating closely with fellow Professional Engineers.
Effectively communicate with cities, counties, property owners, developers, team members, subcontractors, and surveyors to ensure smooth project progress.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of current and upcoming state and federal regulations.
Serve as a mentor and primary source of permit training for Assistant and Associate Engineers.
Take responsibility for creating and reviewing Site Plans, Planned Unit Developments (P.U.Ds), plats, and related documents.
Participate in the billing process by reviewing your own billable hours as well as those of your team members.
